Why We Exist

Grief is a normal reaction to a loss—a universal experience. It is unique to every person and is the intense emotion that floods people when they experience loss. It is, in essence, love—not wanting to let go.

It is different for everyone. based upon previous experiences and our own support systems. Healing takes time, patience and the support of those around us.

What We Do

We provide support services for those coping with grief due to the death of a loved one. Bereaved Families also acts as a resource in educating the public on how to cope with and understand the grieving process, as well as preparing individuals to facilitate and lead grief recovery groups.
